Pooraka Bottle & Can Recycling Centre owner Carri Hollis has been running the family business for over 30 years.

Since 1989, Carri and her team of experienced and dedicated expert recyclers have been looking after and helping Adelaide metropolitan residents make money from the South Australian Government's 'Container Deposit Legislation' (CDL) more commonly referred to as the "10 cent refund on selected beverage containers at collection depots when sold in SA" and also by turning scrap into cash.

Over the years, families, sporting clubs, charity organisations and schools have made thousands of dollars from collecting 10c refund products covered by the container deposit legislation in South Australia plus other non-deposit products such as scrap metal when they bring them into one of Adelaide's largest undercover recycling collection depots.

As one of the longest standing members of RecyclersSA, Carri implements modern practices to serve her clients in the most efficient and friendly way possible, and is across all changes to the CDL legislation as it happens.
